Built by families who walked this road, for the families walking it now.
G.P.S. — Grace, Purpose & Strength — is a free navigation system for the cancer journey. No paywalls. No selling your data. Just a steady hand on the wheel when life takes an unexpected turn.
Our story
It started with a single hospital parking ticket.
A diagnosis is a detour. Suddenly you are learning a new language — oncology, insurance, parking validations, infusion schedules — while still trying to be a parent, a spouse, a friend.
G.P.S. exists because nobody handed us a map. So we made one. It started as a notebook of phone numbers and parking tricks, and grew into the site you are reading now — a quiet, dignified guide for the road ahead.
The logo
Every line on the mark is a meaning.
The G.P.S. mark is a small map of the whole journey — where you are, where you are going, and what carries you there.

The ribbon loop — your starting point
The closed loop at the top is a location pin: the moment of diagnosis, the dot on the map where the road begins.
The ribbon tails — the journey ahead
The two tails flowing down are the road in front of you — open, unfinished, walked one day at a time.
The compass & needle — Grace, Purpose, Strength
The compass rose, its needle, and the arrow point the way: Grace, Purpose, and Strength — the three bearings that keep you oriented when the map blurs.
The ribbon colors
Every cancer has a color, and every color carries a fruit of the Spirit — the qualities that walk with you on the road.
Love
Unconditional, selfless, sacrificial care for others.
Joy
A deep, abiding gladness that does not depend on circumstances.
Peace
A tranquil, harmonious state of mind and spirit, rooted in trust in God.
Patience
Endurance through delays, difficult people, and hardships without lashing out.
Kindness
A tender, compassionate disposition and desire to help those around you.
Goodness
Moral excellence, integrity, doing what is right and beneficial for others.
Faithfulness
Loyalty, trustworthiness, and steadfastness in your commitments and beliefs.
Gentleness
Strength under control — a humble, meek approach in dealing with others.
Self-Control
The discipline and restraint to govern one's own desires, actions, and reactions.
Each ribbon color also represents a different type of cancer — the same hues that mark awareness months and unite communities of survivors and caregivers.
What we believe
Three pillars hold the whole road up.
Grace
Permission to grieve, to rest, to receive help. You are not behind — you are exactly where the road is.
Purpose
Practical next steps when nothing makes sense — what to ask, who to call, how to begin.
Strength
Daily encouragement and clean humor for the long road. Small things, repeated, become resilience.
